The United Independent School District Library Science Program is steadfast in taking an active role in promoting and advocating for a forward approach to literacy that embraces the power and potential of information, multimedia and technology through working collaboratively and cooperatively with our school communities. Our libraries serve as the "heart" of the school, and our library media specialists are committed to instilling in our students a "love of lifetime reading".
